Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
I am 26 years old from Iceland and have lived in Denmark for five years now. I moved to Denmark to study art at Krabbesholm High School and after that there was no going back, so I moved to Copenhagen right after I graduated and I just graduated from KEA in jewelry design, technology and business and have now started on a job at Balenciaga's flagship store. I'm very excited for the upcoming chapter, but hopefully I'll be doing something jewelry-related soon. I am addicted to fashion and have been very exploratory about my style my whole life. I also love taking pictures and styling, so that's a big part of what I do in my free time with my friends, and I never miss a good sample sale!

What is the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning?
Get coffee. Then I choose an outfit and walk around doing nothing for an hour. After that I start getting ready, put on makeup and start my day.

What do you always take with you when you leave home?

Lip Gloss and a good travel perfume. And of course my phone.

When you have time off, what do you enjoy doing?
There is nothing better than relaxing at home with my roommates and watching documentaries about serial killers or something based on a true story (very important).

Otherwise, I love taking photos and creating content with my friends, and vintage and thrift shopping is always a good workout. Now that everything is opening up again, I'm looking forward to going to different events, it's always the best way to get inspiration.

How would you describe your style?
Oh god, I've always dressed according to how I feel and I mix it up all the time. I'm very much into y2k futurism and everything in between right now, and I'm still obsessed with oversized clothing.

What is fashion to you?

Fashion is the best way to express who you are - at least for me. I don't believe in overdressing because it doesn't fit my way of looking at the world. It [fashion] can be so many things at the same time. It shows us what is happening in society at the moment and who you are as a person. One of the things that interests me the most is the innovation of fashion, how things always come back in different variations and how it moves in circles.

Has your style always been the same?
No, definitely not, I've always been very experimental. I have always made it my mission to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. Elevating my style and finding new inspiration is my favorite.

Where do you find inspiration when it comes to fashion?

Usually I have an idea in my head of what I want, and then I go out and look for those things, and maybe I'll find something similar - or something completely different. You can always look at Instagram or fashion articles, but nothing beats finding inspiration from street style and the people around you.

Do you have a rule of thumb when creating a great outfit?

I like to have a coordinated outfit, either in color or material, because I think it can really enhance your look. But when it comes to fashion you should always wear what makes you feel comfortable and happy, it sounds very over the top but you are expressing who you are at the end of the day so don't compromise.

What is your favorite look?

My staples are the sets that I have from both Saks Potts and Rotate. They are very comfortable and easy when I want to throw something on and still look like I made an effort.
