"I wanted to develop a modern approach to some of the biggest trends of the 60s, such as color mixing, but at the same time create timeless designs that women can wear for an unlimited period of time. Additionally, my aim was to design shoes that are elegant but which nevertheless suits everyday life"-
- GDRN
The 1960s are known to be the decade of innovation in women's fashion. Fashion traditions and rules were broken, resulting in more diversity and freedom for women to wear what they wanted.
GDRN was inspired by all the trends and movements that took place in the 60s. She wanted to dedicate her collection to this and to her favorite actresses from that period such as Sharon Tate.
